As you bustle about in the busy holiday season, it is easy to fall into the trap of “doing” more, but I want to remind you that in this particular time of year, it is easy to forget the all-important choice about who you choose to BE.
Your ego is busy “wanting” and “desiring” all kinds of things, not only for yourself, but for others. It is a parallel observation to note that also while you are trying to recreate who you are by choosing a new way of BEING, your ego is getting distracted by all sorts of things.
You can lose sight of the commitment you made to recreate your way of life, by choosing a new way of BEING you. You can stay calm and centered by remembering that you are not your ego. You can find your way out of the need-for-security trap if you will keep remembering that the purpose of your life is self-discovery.
Know that you will only find your true self whenever you find the courage to step out of the box with a new BEING choice. Also, just as important, choose to DO less, choose to see the truth of your BEING, and choose to stay centered not during the holiday season, but every day, if you want to live from a place of authenticity.
